1. Who We Are

Pulse Tweaks ("we", "us", "our") provides a PC performance optimization application and related services, including this website and customer accounts. This policy applies to data collected through the website, the app, and our support channels.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run your account and the service:

• Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store plain-text passwords).
• License & order data: your plan, license key, and payment status, provided to us by our payment processor.
• Contact form submissions: your name, email, and message, encrypted at rest before storage.
• Session data: short-lived authentication cookies (access token, refresh token, CSRF token) required to keep you signed in securely.
• Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.

3. Payment Information

All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or other sensitive card details — those are handled entirely by the payment processor under its own security and compliance standards (PCI DSS).

4. How We Use Your Data

• To create and secure your account, and verify your login.
• To issue, validate, and manage your license(s).
• To respond to support requests submitted via the contact form or Discord.
• To send essential account or transactional emails (e.g. purchase confirmation).
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Data Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including password hashing, encryption of sensitive data at rest, HTTPS/TLS in transit, rate limiting, and strict access controls limiting administrative access to a small, allow-listed set of accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to continuously improve these protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and license data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Contact form messages and inactive sessions are periodically reviewed and may be deleted when no longer needed. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account (authentication and CSRF-protection cookies). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Discord or the contact form, and we'll respond as soon as possible.

9. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the service, including our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting/database infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments, and only to the extent necessary to provide their service to us.

10. Children's Privacy

Pulse Tweaks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Material changes will be announced on our Discord server. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
